Getting Excited

Tomorrow is our scan day, I think i am about 8 weeks so it will be good to know. I am really excited but there is that little niggle at the back of my mind that they wont find a Heart Beat or something is wrong. YKISTA and I are just trying to find comfort in the fact that i have never got this far before, MC at 5.5 weeks and 4.5 weeks previously. I have had no feelings of anything going wrong, have had sensitive nipples and feeling a little nauseous mainly when i get up and dont eat straight away. Also feeling tired, been having nanna naps when i get home from work.
The only other feeling i have is kinda cramps but i think they are more like tightening or stretching feeling, im taking that as a positive sign.
Well wish me luck for tomorrow.

Sorry

Hey All, i just want to say sorry to all the ICLWers that have stopped by. I have been feeling ill the past week with a non stop headache so i havent got around to replying or stopping by your blogs.
Today i am feeling very tired, i keep doing about 10 mins of house work and then have to stop and lie down for about 30 mins. This being preg is exhausting. If i am not coping now at 7 weeks how am i going to be at 35 weeks LOL.
Anyway just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone. I am really hopeless at keeping up with this blog thing. some days all i do is post and check out everyones pages and then i go though days or weeks where i cant be bothered. Im sure you all know where im coming from. Anyway take care all.
Cheers

ICLW February 2011

Hi All and welcome to another month of ICLW, this is my second month. A lot has happened since last month, I signed off on the 28th Jan saying i wouldnt be blogging much as i needed a big break before starting our FET in March, well we kinda got a BFP on our own. We are currently about 6 weeks 4 days or there abouts and my HCG levels have been increasing nicely and i am on 2 x 200mg progesterone pessaries a day. Should be having a scan in about a week or so.
For info on me have a look at about us and my timeline to the right.
Have a great week all
Cheers

19 February 2011

6 weeks

Well i have made it to 6 weeks and feeling more positive about it all.
Friday 4th Feb at 15dpo HCG 327
Tuesday 8th feb at 19 dpo HCG 1546 and Prog 36.
I then contacted my FS to see if he thought i needed any progesterone support due to 2 previous mc, and he arranged for me to go to my fert clinic for monitoring.
Tuesday 15th at 26dpo HCG 14803 Prog 37, i am now on 2 x 200mg progesterone pessaries as they said progesterone a little low.
Thursday 17th at 28dpo (6 weeks) HCG 22283 prog 65.7
I have another BT next Thursday and then the clinic will arrange a u/s so we can see our bubba's HB. I am definitely getting more excited.
I also have a few symptoms now, sore nipples, but only when they are brushed on something, starting to feel nausea during the morning before i get up then about mid morning. Heart burn has kicked in, and feeling crampy when i need to go to loo which is all the time, got up about 5 times last night.

09 February 2011

Today

Today: Week 4 and 6 days (roughly)
Feeling: Feeling really worried today, hubby has told me to be happy and dont worry until something happens, he is definitely right but it is so hard to not think about it.
I would love a crystal ball, i think we all would right.
Symptoms: I woke up feeling a bit sick, some mild dull cramping during the morning, at lunch i had some sharp twinges that each lasted a few seconds and continued on and off for an hour or two and then i got a few more cramps (not too bad but enough to make me freak out) i am currently back to dull cramps. Boobs i think might be starting to get a bit sore but not sure if thats in my head. Also had some heart burn.
Baby Brain moments LOL: yesterday i went to put hairspray in my hair but put deodorant in instead LOL, today was cooking dinner but didnt turn the stove on. Is it too early for baby brain????

07 February 2011

BT results

I got the BT results back today, at 15dpo or 4weeks 1 day my HCG was 327. From all the info i have googled this is a great result so feeling a little bit more confident that this bubba will be a sticky one.
I will be having a repeat BT tomorrow getting results in a couple of days, I had to very firmly insist to get dr to let me have a repeat.
Anyway feeling positive.

06 February 2011

4weeks 3 days

Today: 4w3d or 17dpo.
Feeling: worried but excited, trying to take 1 day at a time and trying not to get too excited. Also it was 2 years to the day that we MC after we found out that we were preg naturally after been given a 2% chance. so a little worried that it is going to happen again. The first time was at 5 and half weeks. So thats a week away. YKISTA is also of the same thoughts as me, just take it one day at a time. I so hate this saying "If its meant to be it will be" but unfortunately it is taken out of our hands, if the bubba is going to stick around it will and if bubba isnt meant to be then it wont stick it wont. So on that note i guess i am feeling fine so far, hoping it wont happen, but there is nothing i can do if it does.
Symptons: Not many, a few cramps mild and low, lots of toilet runs, all free from that horrible red stuff. I also have had a sore hip lower back. Nothing else, no sore boobs no sickness.

BFP OMG

Hi All, well out of the blue i get a BFP, this isnt suppose to happen, i shouldnt be able to concieve naturally, WTF????
I was due for AF on about the 1st or 2nd Feb, on 3rd Feb i decided to do a HPT cos it is a sure fire way for AF to turn up, in the past all i need to do is a HPT and within half a day AF arrives, well this time it was a BFP.
I am totally i shock. we are on an enforced 3 month break. This cant happen. Dont get me wrong i am stoked and really hope it sticks. I went to Dr today for BT, will find out Monday.
I dont know what to do now, any help. Should i take my progesterone support, how many BT's should i have what should they test me for? when to have scan? arh so much i dont know, ask me anything about actually getting preg or IVF i will have the answer but no idea about what to do next.
Help please LOL

Thanks

Hi Everyone that come by for a visit. It was great getting to know everyone with the ICLW. I will endeavour to visit a few of the blogs that i came across.
I have decided that i am going to stop blogging and forum watching for a while and just have a nice break before March comes around and our FET.
Once again it was lovely to meet you all and even though i only got around about a third of the list, i look froward to next time.
Have fun.
My thought for today

26 January 2011

Happy Australia Day

Here is Aussie Land it is Australia Day.
Just been for a swim, then will have a BBQ with the friends eating lamb and then off for some Caching.
I found this and think its funny, to those that dont live in Aust and have no idea feel free to ask me what they mean LOL
You know you're Australian if …
1. You know the meaning of the word "girt".
2. You believe that stubbies can be either drunk or worn.
3. You think it's normal to have a leader called Kevin.
4. You waddle when you walk due to the 53 expired petrol discount vouchers stuffed in your wallet or purse.
5. You've made a bong out of your garden hose rather than use it for something illegal such as watering the garden.
6. You believe it is appropriate to put a rubber in your son's pencil case when he first attends school.
7. When you hear that an American "roots for his team" you wonder how often and with whom.
8. You understand that the phrase "a group of women wearing black thongs" refers to footwear and may be less alluring than it sounds.
9. You pronounce Melbourne as "Mel-bin".
10. You pronounce Penrith as "Pen-riff".
11. You believe the "l" in the word "Australia" is optional.
12. You can translate: "Dazza and Shazza played Acca Dacca on the way to Maccas."
13. You believe it makes perfect sense for a nation to decorate its highways with large fibreglass bananas, prawns and sheep.
14. You call your best friend "a total bastard" but someone you really, truly despise is just "a bit of a bastard".
15. You think "Woolloomooloo" is a perfectly reasonable name for a place.
16. You're secretly proud of our killer wildlife.
17. You believe it makes sense for a country to have a $1 coin that's twice as big as its $2 coin.
18. You understand that "Wagga Wagga" can be abbreviated to "Wagga" but "Woy Woy" can't be called "Woy".
19. You believe that cooked-down axlegrease makes a good breakfast spread.
20. You believe all famous Kiwis are actually Australian, until they stuff up, at which point they again become Kiwis.
21. Hamburger. Beetroot. Of course.
22. You know that certain words must, by law, be shouted out during any rendition of the Angels' song Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again.
23. You believe, as an article of faith, that the confectionery known as the Wagon Wheel has become smaller with every passing year.
24. You still don't get why the "Labor" in "Australian Labor Party" is not spelt with a "u".
25. You wear ugh boots outside the house.
26. You believe, as an article of faith, that every important discovery in the world was made by an Australian but then sold off to the Yanks for a pittance.
27. You believe that the more you shorten someone's name the more you like them.
28. Whatever your linguistic skills, you find yourself able to order takeaway fluently in every Asian language.
29. You understand that "excuse me" can sound rude, while "scuse me" is always polite.
30. You know what it's like to swallow a fly, on occasion via your nose.
31. You understand that "you" has a plural and that it's "youse".
32. You know it's not summer until the steering wheel is too hot to handle.
33. Your biggest family argument over the summer concerned the rules for beach cricket.
34. You shake your head in horror when companies try to market what they call "Anzac cookies".
35. You still think of Kylie as "that girl off Neighbours".
36. When returning home from overseas, you expect to be brutally strip-searched by Customs - just in case you're trying to sneak in fruit.
37. You believe the phrase "smart casual" refers to a pair of black tracky-daks, suitably laundered.
38. You understand that all train timetables are works of fiction.
39. When working on a bar, you understand male customers will feel the need to offer an excuse whenever they order low-alcohol beer.
40. You get choked up with emotion by the first verse of the national anthem and then have trouble remembering the second.
41. You find yourself ignorant of nearly all the facts deemed essential in the government's new test for migrants.
42. You know, whatever the tourist books say, that no one says "cobber".
43. And you will immediately forward this list to other Australians, here and overseas, realising that only they will understand.

How Many Miles

I found this quote today and thought it fitting for IF. We may not actually run those miles, but we are all chasing a dream to have that miracle. The miles that we run is time, time for age, time for waiting for a cycle to start, time for that 2ww to find out if it is a BFP and then time for 9 months for that healthy bundle of joy to be held in our arms.
I hope you all like my choose of quote today :)

23 January 2011

out and about

Today YKISTA and I decided to go adventuring and embark on some more Geocaching. This is our new hobby. I hear you say what is that. Visit Here for more info, but basically its hide and seek with a GPS. you get coordinates to little boxes of trinkets that ppl have hidden around the world (there is over 1million of them) and go and see if you can find them, some are hidden on the side of hills, down holes, under rocks, in trees etc.
So hubby and I went on a mission and today we found 6 which were all about 30 mins from our house. We hiked up a hill, got a bit lost and had fun.
This seriously takes my mind of the TTC roller coaster. I havent been thinking of TTC 50 times a day and some days not even at all so having something to take my mind off of it is great.
But i really cant wait til march to get this FET underway, can someone please hit fast forward.
Well better check on dinner have a yummy lasagna in the oven.

MIA

Sorry guys i have been MIA. I just hadnt really had much to talk about. I hate being in limbo land between cycles. I have so long to wait before we get the ball rolling again. Also I woke up on NYears day with a cold and have been sick since. Think I am finally over it wish the cough would bugger off though.
Af finally arrived after the early MC. I think it was about 40 days. And the old cow was nice coming back normal and no major pains or bleeding so all good. I have about 60 days to go and then bring on FET.
On New Years day I had a bit of a downer day. I was so trying to be positive, but I felt like I was going to be sitting here in a years time in exactly the same position. Fear I hate it. I really wish there was a crystal ball out there so I can see if we are going to have a baby or not.
Well the downer left when our friends called and said they were coming to visit for the night so that was nice and then we went geocaching (GPS treasure hunting for those that have no idea what I am talking about) I think YKISTA and I will be hooked on this. Basically there is a web site that tells you where little boxes are hidden around the world and then you get your GPS and locate them. They are then hidden under rocks up trees etc. It is something that will get us out of the house on weekends and maybe a bit of exercise hiking to locations. And another bonus it takes my mind off the TTC thing.
Here is my quote for the day.
"When you believe something can be done, your mind will find the ways to do it. Believing in a solution paves the way to a solution." - David Schwartz
Anyway thats it from me today, talk soon
